We're off to see the Wizard......

We're missing the Tin Man. I couldn't talk Jonathan into wrapping himself in foil! I wonder why?!?!
(Please ignore my hand. Herc's hat wouldn't stay on without my help.)

Aiden didn't know what he got himself into when he was born into this family!

Please just get me out of this thing!

Our cute little lion!

Hercules telling Aiden where to look

Has anyone seen my brain.....I mean hat???

I have always loved dressing Herc and Boo up for every holiday and now Aiden gets to join in on the fun. We are not fans of the Wizard of Oz, but we I found this costume for Aiden and was trying to decide what to dress Herc and Boo up as to go with him and then I found these great costumes for them. The pictures don't show just how cute they are, though, but they were really funny. The Wizard of Oz makes me think of when we did The Wiz our senior year in High School and I was part of the "twirling tornados" and almost fell off the stage! (ha,ha) Let's just hope Aiden doesn't get his moms clumsiness. Happy Halloween!
P.S. Although it may not look like it, but Hercules and Boo are really happy. They love getting dressed up and letting us laugh at them, I mean with them!

2 month checkup...

I took Aiden this morning for his 2 month check up. I could not believe how much he weighed.....11 pounds and 13 ounces! (They asked what I was feeding him!) He was in the 53% for weight, his height was 22.5 inches, which is 33% for his age. I knew he had gained some weight because his clothes are starting to fit better. He also got 4 shots today (yes, I said 4). I think I took it harder than he did! He was such a trooper and only cried for about a minute. Then by the time we got down to the car he was already asleep!

I guess the shots didn't affect him too much.

Here are a few things he is doing or that he likes:
1. Sleeping through the night!!! For over a week now he has been sleeping after I put him down at night until I wake him up at 6:00. Before he would only make it until 4:30 or 5:00, but now he's been making it the whole night! He loves his sleep just like his momma does.
2. He's been smiling at us. It's the cutest little smile I've ever seen. I'll try to get a picture of it and post it.
3. He has more control of his head and has been holding it up for a while and looking around. Also, very cute.
4. He definitely recognizes our voices.
5. He still loves the outdoors. I've been taking him on walks every day and he really enjoys it (he told me).
6. Eat! He's definitely an eater! Explains why he gained 3 pounds in a month!
7. Cooing.....it's the cutest thing ever. While I'm giving him his bottle he does this cooing sound and it's so cute. It's like he's say, "this is good momma, give me some more!".

I can not put into words how much we love this little guy. He has been the best blessing to us. I just love spending every moment with him I can because soon I will be going back to work.......but we won't talk about that right now.....

I was just wondering....

if Hercules was a little jealous?!?! Or maybe he was just trying to see if he could get closer to Jonathan than Aiden was. Either way this picture is precious. This is how it is most of the time when either one of us is holding Aiden. Hercules is always right there beside us. Boo on the other hand could care less.

I love how Hercules is sticking his tongue out in this picture. (Jonathan is trying to calm Aiden down while I was getting his water ready for his bath!)

Just hanging out...

After I feed Aiden at 6:00 he is usually up until his bath at 9:30. Sometimes he gets a little fussy so we put on the Priase Baby DVD's and he loves them. Well last night I decided to sit him in the bumbo while we listened to the Praise DVD's. Doesn't he look so cute!

He looks like he's driving in this picture....

Don't ya just want to pinch those little cheeks....

Future baby GAP model?!?!?!? (Thanks for my outfit Sydney!)

Aiden wants to share something with you...

Or maybe she's just nuts!!!

Another great Target find that I couldn't resist!
I love how in this picture Aiden really is looking at me like I'm nuts! Only over him!

Aiden LOVES bath time

Usually during bath time Aiden just relaxes and sits there while we give him his bath. Well last night he was so relaxed that he fell asleep. It was precious!

Wait, where am I????

Big weekend...

Going to stay with Aunt Lauren and Aunt Erin.....funny story with this outfit. I wanted to put him in this because I thought it was so cute, but I didn't take into consideration that it was velour! Erin and Lauren had to change it out of this quickly because he was so hot! Sorry Aiden, we'll save this outfit for when it's a little cooler!

The beautiful bride!

Going to a restuarant for the first time

Can someone just give me a hug?!?!

Riding in the car I was such an angel

First road trip to Little Rock

Meeting his great grandmother for the first time

Who are all these people????

Bridesmaid lunch

Mom and her girls!

We had such an exciting weekend. First I would like to say CONGRATS to Kristy and Paul. I'm so happy for them. It was a lovely weekend and all the festivities were so much fun. The wedding was beautiful and Kristy was the most beautiful bride. The center pieces at the reception were awesome. I wish I would have gotten more pictures of the wedding and reception, but I didn't do that great of a job taking pictures (sorry).
We had a lot of exciting first this weekend. Aiden got to meet a lot of his family and friends that are in North Little Rock. I have to give a shout out to Erin, Lauren, Laura, Amber, Alan and Meg for all watching over Aiden this past weekend while we were busy with the wedding. Aiden was so overwhelmed with joy to be with Erin, Amber and Meg on Saturday that he gave them a little "present" that afternoon. All I have to say is that is mom was really proud, but I'm sorry for you girls that had to be there for it. He was a lot happier that evening, though.
Not only did he have his first road trip this weekend, but he also went to a restaurant for the first time. We stopped through Memphis to see Jonathan's brothers on our way home and went to one of our favorites there (Memphis Pizza Cafe). Aiden of course slept through it all. I guess it is better to take them out at this age because all they do is sleep! He was such a little angel all weekend. He had no problem sleeping in his pack and play while at Mimi and Papa John's. He is still doing a great job of sleeping through the night. What a blessing!
