Aiden walking

Here's a better video of Aiden walking. It cracks me up because you can see Madelyn in the background walking and it looks like he goes right up to her and tries to knock her down. Typical boy!

Next stop....NLR!

I had to break the trip into two post because there were so many pictures.  So look at my post below and you'll see the Shreveport pictures.  After our trip to see Jonathan's family we came back to my parents house.  Jonathan left Aiden and I there for the week so we could visit friends and family.  BUT, of course, I left my charger for my camera battery in Jonathan's bag so towards the end of the week my camera died.  But I got some good pictures until then....

Erin had all our OBU friends over and we managed to get all the kids on the couch to get a picture: Karoline, Aiden, Sydney, Maddox and Addison
I love how Aiden and Sydney are clapping in this one.  So cute.
Me, Aiden, Dayle and Karoline  (Aiden looks real excited in this picture.  I think he was tired of taking pictures by now)
Cute Sydney stylin' in her purple sunglasses
Me & Aiden
Aiden trying to figure out why nothing is coming out of this fake bottle.  Poor guy.
Do you think they got caught doing something they weren't supposed to be doing?!?!
Aiden showing off his new walking skills.  While we were in Arkansas he really started walking more.
Emily and Addison
Katie and Aiden
Laura, Amber and Karoline
Me, Aiden, Lauren and Sydney
Erin and Sydney (and Karoline in the background)
Aiden was obsessed with Emily that night.  He would not leave her alone.  I didn't know if I should laugh or be worried.
So innocent......yeah right!

The next day Aiden and I spent all day with my sister Jill and nephew Carter.  We had so much fun and of course we had to make a stop at Target.
Aiden just thought Carter was the best thing since sliced bread.   He had so much fun with him.  He's trying to figure out where Carter has gone.  Carter's 4 1/2 and he doesn't stay in one place very long.
Erin came by my parents to see Aiden again.
I stole this off Erin's blog because I loved it so much.
 Aiden helping Papa John cook.
On Thursday Carter came over to spend some more time with us.  My mom was off this day so we had lots of fun together.
Carter giving Aiden a hug......ahhh!
Good thing my parents dog, Baxter, likes kids.  Aiden kept trying to pull his collar off.  We don't put collars on our dogs so Aiden couldn't figure out what Baxter was wearing.
That day we took Aiden and Carter to get their pictures made in matching outfits.  They were so cute.

Lauren had some of our high school friends over so I stopped by for a little bit.  This is where my camera died :(  I did manage to get this one picture of John Austin.  He was a doll.
I got this picture off Corbin's blog.
Aiden, JA, Carlee, Sydney, Greer, and Caroline

So that's all I got.  I know it's a lot, but I was sad my camera wasn't working at the end of the week.  Aiden and I got to see so many friends and family while we were there.  Then on Saturday my mom, Jill and Carter took us back to TN to my Aunt and Uncle's house and Jonathan picked us up there.  We stayed the night there and had a great time.  I wish I had pictures to prove it.  Lesson learned....always make  sure you have your charger!
Thanks for a great time in Arkansas.  Don't worry, we'll be back soon y'all!

Trip to Shreveport...

Okay, I've finally found some time to put some pictures up from our trip to see Ben, Kristen, Isabella, and Brooks.  We had an added bonus because Grammy was there helping out so we got to see her as well.  We missed Granddaddy, though.  Get ready because there are a lot of pictures.

We try to plan our traveling around Aiden's nap time.  He does NOT like his carseat these days so if we can get him to sleep while we're driving it makes for a much pleasant trip.  I can't wait till we can turn him around.
Right when we got there Aiden and Isabella got right to playing.  They weren't messin' around!
The guys left to go golfing so we decided to take all three kiddos shopping.  Taking 3 kids under 2 to go shopping is no easy task.  We must have really wanted to go shopping.  Thank goodness there were three of us so we each had one.
Sweet little Brooks just chillin'
See I told you he wouldn't last long in his carseat....
I guess a bottle makes everything better.   (Notice Isabella and Aiden holding hands......ahhhh so sweet)
Thank goodness for the double stroller.  It was a life saver.
We were gone during Aiden's afternoon nap.  Thank goodness he's like his mom and can sleep anywhere.
Sweet Isabella
The minute we got back they got busy playing again.  We need to get Aiden one of these piano and microphone things.  He loved it!
The next morning we went to church, then out to eat at Cheeseburger Cheeseburger.  Aiden is trying to share his cracker with Isabella.
Aiden looks like he's giving me the thumbs up in this picture.  Too funny.  (Isn't the pink background nice?!?!)
Brooks, Isabella and Aiden
This is Macy, Ben and Kristen's dog.  I'm glad she's laid back because Aiden was hitting her like she was a stuffed animal.
They were dog sitting the cutest dog and I just had to get a picture of her.  This is Tinkerbell.  Isn't she cute!
Sweet Brooks
Jonathan and Brooks
We ended the trip just like we started it.....Thank God!

We're back....

I feel like we've been around the country the last week, but really we just went down to Shreveport and then I spent a few days with my family in NLR.  While we were there Aiden started walking a lot more.  He was already taking a few steps without holding onto anything, but he was really moving while we were there.  I didn't have our video camera with me so I didn't get anything.  But this is him yesterday.  He would've gone further, but the plastic ring got stuck on his leg.  I thought it was too funny not to share.  (Oh, and I didn't have my video camera out, but I used my digital camera so that's why it's not very good.) WARNING: You will need to turn down the volume because my laugh is pretty annoying.  I just thought it was so funny that he got his leg stuck in the ring, but then saw his ball so everything was okay......

I will post more  pictures tonight from our trip.  It's too hard to try and be on the computer and watch this wild man at the same time.  Stay tuned....

What we've been up to...

We've been up to a lot lately (except blogging!).  I can't believe it's been almost two weeks since the last post.  We've been busy......or maybe just not taking very many pictures!  I'm trying to get better I promise.  Here are some things we've been doing lately....

We love going to the park and swinging.
"Why isn't this thing going anywhere?"
"Yay!  Finally someone pushed me!"
Aiden loves watching Veggie Tales...the sing-a-long videos.  Sometimes he gets a little too close to the tv.  But it does keep his attention almost the whole 30 minutes!
Within the last week Aiden has been taking a few steps without holding on to anything.  Yesterday I counted 6.  Hey, that's a start.  He's been walking around holding on to the furniture for a while now and I feel like he is so ready to just take off.  Maybe in the next few weeks he will.
Aiden loves some cheese.  I remember in college when Jennifer used to say "You eat cheese you wear it!"  I think he was taking it literally...
"What?  You eat cheese you wear it?  I don't get it mom!"
Aiden loves playing with the exercise ball.  He uses it as his walker.  Oh well, at least it's getting used by someone in this house.  Unless you call Jonathan using it as a foot stool getting used!
"AHHHHH!  Caught ya!"  I think this was taking right after we got back from our trip and hadn't put our luggage up.  It cracks me up because it looks like Aiden just got caught doing something he knew he wasn't suppose to be doing!  And I love how his belly is hanging over his diaper.  It just cracks me up.
Watching Veggie Tales.....again!   He looks so serious.
The other day we went out to eat with some friends I used to work with.  I had them take a picture of the two of us because we never get our picture together since I'm the one usually taking the picture.

Rhonda, Lana and Kim....I miss you girls
