21 weeks!!!

WOW! I can't believe I'm starting my 21st week. I feel like my pregnancy has really flown by (I'm sure I won't feel like that towards the end). Now that we know what we're having we have lots of planning to do. We still have not decided on a name. We had a girls name picked out, but won't be needing that this time. Boy names are just harder to think of. I'm open to any suggestions (but that doesn't mean I'll use it)!!! I have a book that has 35,000 baby names and only found 5 that I would even consider naming our little boy.....and I wasn't even that excited about those. Hopefully we will come up with something soon.

Sweet little Isabella

One of the best things about this past weekend is that we got to spend lots of time with our sweet little niece Isabella. She is 6 1/2 months old now. She has the best little personality and was so pleasant to have around. She liked hanging out with her Uncle Jonathan because he made her laugh. Her laugh is so cute that it makes you start laughing. I wish we got to see her more often. We love you Isabella!

This weekend's adventure

This past weekend we went to Roanoke, VA for Jonathan's cousins wedding. It was great seeing all his family. We missed everyone that couldn't be there. David's wife Nekayeh couldn't come, Ben wasn't able to attend and neither was Ron. So the Carothers family was not complete, but we still all had a good time. We got to spend lots of time with our little neice Isabella and that's always special. Pretty soon she'll have a little cousin to boss around!

Our baby boy

Here's some pictures from our ultrasound. Don't worry, I couldn't really tell what they were either! When we started the ultrasound he had his back to the front, so in the first and last picture you can see his spine. He finally moved some so on the middle picture you can tell it's a boy (at least that's what they told us). We go back in three weeks for another ultrasound because they weren't able to see everything they wanted to see since he had his back to us. Hopefully we can get a better picture of him then. He's definitely taking after his mom and being stubborn! Also, before I went in for the ultrasound I drank a mountain dew so he would be active and of course he wasn't at all. He was just laying there sleeping (what his mom does best). So maybe this means he'll be laid back like his dad. We'll see!!!

it's a BOY. We are so excited. We don't have any names picked out yet, but we will keep you posted (no pun intended). Pictures will follow soon.

because we find out tomorrow what we're having. I will post tomorrow morning as soon as I get back from my doctor's appointment. I will also have a picture to go with it. My appointment is at 8:30 in the morning. Please pray that the baby will be turned the right way so we will have a clear picture as to rather we're having a baby girl or baby boy! How exciting! I can't believe this day has finally come.

18 Weeks!!!

I'm starting my 18th week! I can't believe it. I feel like it has all gone by so fast. I have been very blessed not to have been sick or have any complications so far. God has truly blessed me with a WONDERFUL pregnancy. I have been feeling the baby move lately and I can not explain how awesome it is. It has just been little flutters, but it's still exciting. I go in one week and three days to find out what we're having. We have a few names picked out, but we're waiting to make any final decisions until we know what the baby is. Please continue to pray for our little one.
