4:00- Blow out!!!

When I pick up Aiden they always give me a piece of paper that tells me when he ate, how much, what he did for the day and when he had a wet and dirty diaper.
Well yesterday when I picked him up his sheet of paper said: "4:00-Blow out!!!" And was underlined! Apparently Aiden went all over the place because he was not in the same outfit I put him in that morning. I just thought it was hilarious that they would actually put "blow out" on his report for the day! I'm glad it happened to them this time and not me! He must have felt real good afterwards because when I picked him up he was all smiles!
This is him that morning ready for school.

He was wearing his Guatemala booties that day.

Aiden turned 5 months old on Monday. I know, I know, I can't believe it either. He has been so much fun lately because he is really starting to interact with things. He loves watching the ark roll by. It plays lovely music that will get stuck in your head all night......."Sailing, Sailing....."

He loves his little taggie elephant.....

And his drums......(don't cha just want to kiss those cheeks!)

"Who has big cheeks?"

Hercules is ALWAYS curious as to what Aiden is doing...

Aiden confused "tummy time" with "nap time"...

Wow, what a wonderful five months it has been. Aiden has finally gotten better (knock on wood....everytime I post about it I usually jinx myself). He is back to eating fruits and vegetables with rice cereal 3 times a day and taking bottles with those. I have actually tried the oatmeal when we're at home and he seems to like that better. He has started to recognize the dogs lately and they have been making him laugh, which is very cute. He started reaching for his feet, too, which keeps him entertained for a while......whatever works, right?
In the past 5 months I have been peed on, pooped on, thrown up on, spit up on, coughed on, slept on, and cried on. But I wouldn't change a day of it. No one can explain to you how much love you can have for someone until you have your own child. Lauren and Scarlett were right when they said, "Motherhood isn't for sissies!" There are days when you want to sit there and cry with them (and I do), but I am so glad that I'm Aiden's mom. He brings so much joy into our lives and we feel blessed every day!

P.S. This is random and nothing to do with Aiden, but has anyone tried those new skinny lattes at Starbucks....Y-U-M-M-Y! I highly recommend the skinny mocha....

Love the booties and the skinny lattes at Starbucks! He's such a cutie! Joe is always in a different outfit when I pick him up from the sitter...he must have inherited that from his dad. I'm glad Aiden is feeling better and I hope he stays that way!

Julie, I can empathize! Jackson's teachers would always circle the "BM's" that were bad/blowouts. And of course, they would tell me, too. One time his teacher asked if I could send more than 2 changes of clothes per day! Yikes. :) I love Aiden's cheeks!

He's such a cutie! I got your comment on Ethan's toy...it's a Combi walker/activity center/jumpy thing. It's just called the Combi walker, but his model is the Mustang GT. I ordered it online, but they have been backordered everywhere since November. Normally the stork stop here in town has them and they have some on order, but you might could find it in town there.
